Where can you see Morris Dancing in action in Hull and district? Best check the websites of the various local Morris teams which give details of dance outs (see “Links”). There may be last minute alterations. Remember also that weather is important and rain may lead to last minute cancellations. Sadly, not all team websites are bang up to date!

Sunday 9th Dec. 2018 Yorkshire Coast Morris will be dancing out at the Robin Hood’s Bay Victorian Weekend

Sunday 16th December, 2018 Rackaback Morris and Green Ginger Garland will be dancing out at the Humber Street Festival of Christmas in the old Fruit Market area of Hull.
Sunday 23rd December, 2018. Rackaback Morris will be joined by the Raving Maes for their Winter Solstice Dance Out in the afternoon at the old chalk mill, close to the rescue station in the shadow of the Humber Bridge on Hessle Foreshore.
Wednesday December 26th, Beverley Garland will be dancing out at Saturday Market, Beverley.

Freaks in the Peaks. This Morris gathering usually consists of groups and individuals learning dances on the Saturday morning which are then danced out at local venues in the afternoon and on the following Sunday.
